Penne with white sauce

Resources used:

Water, Pot, Frying pan,  8 mushrooms, Knives, 1 onion, 1 pkt bacon,1 pkt white sauce, cooker, gas, matches, chopping boards, wooden spoons.

Method:

  1. Pot half filled with water, put onto the cooker and left to boil.
  2. In the meantime, 2 children cut mushrooms, another one sliced the onion, another girl sliced the bacon and the other child checked on the boiling water.
  3. When the water was boiling, the girl in charge put penne into the boiling water and mixed the penne constantly.
  4. onions were fried, bacon was added, and finally mushrooms.
  5. after 15minutes the penne was ready, and boiling water was removed.
  6. penne was mixed with the ingredients in the frying pan and finally white sauce was added to the mixture.
  7. penne with white sauce, mushrooms, onions and bacon was served.


Result:

Before starting cooking the children discussed together which ingredients they liked and disliked. And the ones they liked where added to the mixture.  All the children participated and obeyed our instructions. The final result was satisfactory and they all enjoyed the meal.
