Results: The children enjoyed the activity. Overall there were few problems in the groups. Most of them managed to take an equal amount of photos and they did find some good subjects.
Improvements:
1) A definite perimetre should be set up beforehand and this should be made clear to the children
2) Children should be asked to stay longer discussing what photos would they like to take and not just go around looking for something
3) The theme could have been less abstract and changed to something like “Good things that make ours a better life”, since most of the children understood it this way anyway.
Additional information: Disposable cameras should not be used outside in the dark. Their flash is not so powerful and most of the photos could not be developed. Also, when using traditional cameras remember that even if no photos are developed you still have to pay for the process carried out on the film. If you trust your children, digital cameras are suggested.
