Results:

The children really enjoyed this session because they were able to create a custome for a volunteer and then show their work to the other children and volunteers. They were very creative and the children were satisfied with the results. During this session they really followed the volunteers’ orders and did their utmost. The older group of children (that is 10 to 14 years) designed their costume based on a popular Maltese television character. The youngest children found a bit difficult to carry out the task but with the help of the volunteers they were still able to make up nice custome.

Improvements:

This activity was a success, thus could be repeated again. Altough there was a lot of teamwork in the groups, it was suggested that in the future groups will be more balanced out according to age and gender.
